Thanks Barry, That one has been there over a year (must be the price)! It is actually an early 28 with the high back window!

Hi Don,
If I remember right that one had the twist on gas cap and it's listed as a 1930. They are asking 25K but are negotional. The rear window looked the same as the 29 pickup I owned.

Just my opinion, but I feel that anyone who pays or invests more than 10 grand on an AA is starting to throw money away. They are fun and you can do some things with them that you can't with a regular A, but they are much slower and more cumbersome to handle and just won't see the miles and use as your Model A car. I picked mine up in running, roadworthy condition for $3500, so I don't mind if it only gets exercise a few times a year. Other than that it is nice to just look at.

Cumbersome and slow, I drive a ten speed around town all day for a living.

Everyone on the road around you is in a hurry these days. As far as the OD, You have to remember that you have heavy old Budd wheels usually in questionable condition because most AAs sat with flat tires in the mud for years, so good straight rims that aren't all corroded are hard to find. Then you have tubes, flaps, and heavy tires, which all equates to a very heavy tire/wheel assembly and you can have balance problems, big time. Consider all the posts people make here regarding Dynabeads and balancing for their cars running over 45 mph, then think about the issues you'll have with an AA running duals. These are far from the modern hub pilot Alcoas on your rig.

I have the high speed rear in my truck and at 45, the front fenders are shaking pretty good. It's easy to understand why alot of the old fenders you find have cracked beads.
It's no question you can make an AA run fast, the question is, Do you want to?

The plate in my avatar hangs on the back of my AA. I prefer to make haste slowly.
