I'm going to be on Long Island for the next three weeks. Any A activities or good auto museums?

Re: Long Island
On Sunday, August 7th, the Model A Ford Club of Long Island is going to participate in the Lake Ronkonkoma Heritage Assoc. 1st annual parade to Lake Ronkonkoma and car show. The route of the parade will be along the historic Motor Parkway. The MAFCLI will assemble for the parade at 9:00 in front of the Hyatt Hotel at 1717 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge.

Where on Long Island will you be? Yes, there are PILES of Model A activities going on all the time and LOTS of GREAT MEMBERS who will give you more time that you have to spend. Contact me [email protected] with your itineary and I will help you with activities. This Sunday we are involved with a LONG ISLAND MOTOR PARKWAY event near Islandia. Weekdays are also almost all accounted for. Yesterday found a number of us at a car show/BBQ, etc with the L I Corvette Club, anout 100 cars, following Friday dinner with maybe twenty members present. We have a big club picnic/BBQ August 14 at the Sayville Maritime Museum. We look forward to sharing our time with you. |
