I know the doors are the same. I think the leg room in the Roadster is the same as the Phaeton.

Fred,

The doors are the same, also the front seat riser. I don't think it has as much
as a Roadster, in the front.

My P'ton has just slightly more room due to the curve of the back of the front seat. But it's very little. The side is actually narrower on the mid panel on a P'ton. If you take the seat and push it all the way to the back and thin it down a little in a Roadster it gets alot roomier. None of them are like Cadillacs though. Remember you wear a '29 open car, not merely just sitting in it.

28/29..Could someone measure the distance from dash at steering wheel to the metal part at back of front seat directly where driver sits, against the same in a roadster to start of rear metal deck.

Does a roadster have an adjustable fore/aft seat as well?

With either one you can skip taking your Saturday night bath if you live in Florida.

On my ’28 roadster I measured from the top edge of the dash over the center of the steering wheel to the front edge of the body that the rear tack rail is mounted on and got 39 ½ inches.

Don't know how accurate these old dimensional charts are, but they would seem to indicate that the Roadster has an inch or two more room than the Phaeton.
