1930 Tudor header board size?
Does anybody have a front header board (above windshield) that is loose or exposed and could give me the length, width, and thickness of it? I am trying to determine if I have the correct one and make sure I get the correct one if not. Thanks

Re: 1930 Tudor header board size?
First off, Headers are not made from a single piece of wood. They are a conglomeration of about 3 or 4 pieces. I don't advise you to make your own if you don't have a pattern. That being said, I measured my semi-installed one in my Town Sedan. These figures are rough (Semi installed) Although the height is pretty near correct at 3 inches. The width is 47 inches. The front is an angle starting at 3 1/2" at the top and about 2 inches at the bottom. The most favored wood is Ash. Good luck!
