Default Exterior door handle froze?

Say I have been getting all the doors of my 41 to open and close nicely but for some reason the driver side exterior handle will not budge, it opens nicely from the inside, I have put considerable lube and pressure on it but nothing, could it be it is locked by way of the key and if so is there a way to unlock it without a key or should I keep trying to force it? Thanks

Do a search "Remove door handle" and helpful info. will appear that may help you solve your problem.

Drivers side shouldn't have a key lock should it?

Yes both sides have a lock a few inches below handle, mystery solved it was just froze, more oil and more extreme wiggle pressure eventually freed it up, hard to believe it could lock up that tight.

It won't turn or you can't get it to come out? If your trying to get it out try holding the inside handle in the open position while turning the exterior handle and you'll have to juggle the exterior handle until the two square holes in the door latch line up. Just went through this on my 37 pickup.
