Intro and a Newbe to Model A
Hi all, I am very excited about my recent purchase and am waiting for delivery. I am the new owner of a 28 Roadster. I've never had anything older than a 37 Plymouth Business coupe so this will be a learning experience. There are two items that are not original, one is a Mitchel 3 speed synchronized transmission and the other is a 6 volt alternator. The car has just gone through a nut and bolt restoration an I intend on driving it as much as I can. I look forward to learning and participating whenever I can. I am happy to be a part of this forum.

Welcome aboard caperss! Sounds like Santa is bringing you a great present this year! Definitely join a local club. There is nothing more fun than driving down the road with another 6 or 8 Model A's! Drive it often, enjoy it and have a very Merry Christmas!

Welcome, and that's a very nice car.
Do you still have the Plymouth coupe? That must also be a nice one to drive. |

Excellent!
I live about 6 hours west of you and pass by there frequently on I-10. Give me a shout when you have the car and I will stop in help you with anything you need while I'm there. Have fun with it!

Re: Intro and a Newbe to Model A
you have great hood fit, it seems, congratulations. if you ever decide to drill the stanchions for side curtain studs, I might have an idea or two you might find helpful. not trying to be officious.
