Default A round tuit

After three years I finally found one. I’ve had the issue of gear oil migrating from the rear end to the transmission on my AV8. The torque tube has been shortened, center bearing taken out, and a slight rake. All of which contributed to this problem.
I bought a seal set up for the rear axle about three years ago and I’m finally putting it in.
This seal was fabricated by Bruce’s Rod Shop in Spring, Texas.
I hope it will finally cure my oil issue.
The seal rides on the smooth part of the driveshaft.

A round tuit. My wife bought me one of those awhile back, works great

That setup should solve your issues. I've seen guys that use this and it does the trick.

Bruce's, seal doesn't come with any "plate".
It's a one piece unit with a flange that bolts between the banjo and the torques tube.
I painted mine red.

No, my driveshaft is the hollow tube that Speedway used to sell, you would cut it to the lengt you need. I can’t remember who made them originally.
