47 ford door panels
The inner surface of the my door panels over the years have been damaged by moisture or water. The cardboard backing has become soft in places. It looks if shellac or some kind of sealer was put on to protect them but it didn't. I have a new set to install. What do you do use to protect the panels. I was thinking of a thick vapor barrier like they use on newer cars. Also over time the holes for the clips become damaged. I have a trim tool but is there a better way to re & re. Thanks

Re: 47 ford door panels
I used a sheet of plastic attached on using duct tape on my interior panels to keep water and moister away.
