Default 1936 Ford Pickup Fender Braces

Hey Guys,
I've got a 1936 Ford Pickup that I probably bought 40 years ago and tore-down 30+ years ago. I bought one new front fender brace and a pair of rear fender braces from Early Ford V8 (SC). The front brace appears to be the same size as my original brace, but the bend isn't even close. I can deal with that using a hammer and maybe a little heat. I had no rear braces and can remember how the rear fenders would flutter in the wind. The ones I received look like they'd fit a 12" wide fender, whereas mine are about 10.5". I do not know where these attach. Could someone give me some advice and maybe a photo or two of where and how these braces are suppose to attach?

While you're at it, how about a photo of where the front of the rear fender attaches. I assumed they would bolt to the rear of the running boards, but the bolt-hole size and number don't match up at all. Does something go between the running board and the rear fender? Look forward to any information.

Thanks

Hope these pictures help. This is the drivers side outside fender to rear brace. A carriage bolt is used.

This is a picture of the inner attachment

Sorry -- picture would not load

Please note that the fender braces do not fit the contour of the fender.

Here is a photo of the rear fender bracket I received. It's sitting atop a 12" square. My fender width is 10.5", while this bracket is 12" wide. What am I missing?

Thanks

Apart from the problem with the width, the original bracket has a tab at the end that corresponds to the flange on the fender as shown in Bruce's photo. That's where it attaches to the fender. I think what you have is for another application.
