Default Engine block ID

Need some help to ID this engine block. It looks ok, but has no cast numbers or or letters like a 59AB on the usual place like the bell housing. As you can see it also has keystone shaped water passages. Anything specific I should look for besides the bore to help ID it.
Thank you.

The photos see to show a 21 stud layout vs 24, so that solves the bore question also. Any other opinions ?

Well, it's a 21 stud ...for a closer id, we'd need to see a picture of front of block

Does it have poured bearings or replaceable type ( lb)
Does it have block off plates in front of block for in block water pumps ?

Yes... but you would also be able to tell if there is a breather at the right front (where the pan attaches), and if the mains are poured, and the width of the main cap bolts, and if there were front-mounted water pumps (or not). And, on the rare possibility, which way the water-drains point - down or angled. Just opinion.

It's got the breather rt front, so is 35 or later.

If we knew if it used insert main bearings, that would narrow it down to late '36 through early '38. Without knowing the bearing type, it could be '35 through early '38.

The main bearing capscrew spacing is 3.00" for the babbitt bearing engines and 3.25" for the loose (insert) bearing engines. You will have to show us the front of the block to ID it any further.
