Default Y Block Builders

Hi, I'm looking for information on getting hold of a good rebuilt 292, 312, Y Block to go in a '40 Ford sedan, everyone keeps saying Chevy, but I'm a Ford in a Ford kind of a guy and at present I'm a feeling like a change from a flatty. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

go to www.ford-y-block.com - you cannot go wrong with anything that John Mummert sells.

Also try the "Y Block Magazine", Bruce Young, Editor. Quite a few build tips and tricks.

If you need further assistance online, go to www.y-blocksforever.com and sign in on the forum. You are bound to find what you need.

Good for you! Love those old motors, and have one myself in the shop, ready to get rebuilt. Lots of vintage stuff around and more and more new parts coming on the market. Good luck, you'll be glad you went this route.

And ditto above. Johm Mummert is just the best.

For a cam, I can highly recommend you speak to George at Clay Smith Cams. I'm about to order another from him. Lots of knowlege there, new billets, and very nice people.

I'm in the UK, so it would involve shipping. On the plus side I can piggyback to the UK using a container that goes from Iola in Kansas (if that helps).
Let me know costs etc for both.
Thanks,
Mike
