Default Rear hub sleeved wheel bearing faliure

I had my '28 rear hubs sleeved with the repair kit. It now uses '36-'48 Ford rear wheel bearings ?

If you've had this done did you have any problems with new bearing failure of either cage end because they were not hardened ? Seems as though the problem is not the rollers but the ends (thrust bearing).
Also if you've had it done with no problems who supplied the bearings.
