I have two 33-34 gas tank sending units and not sure what the thread is on the small air line male fitting. It appears to be 5/16"-24 on one and looks like someone buggered the other one ? What is the correct size please ? Both would make one good one .

Put a 5/16 24 nut on the one and see if it goes on easily by hand.

It is 5/16 X 24 as TJ said.
