30 Coupe seat upholtery parts
Got my seat almost done, not perfect but not too bad. Can anyone tell me what these extra pieces of fabric are for? On top there is a piece that is seamed on both sides. On the seat there is a piece that has stitching long ways on it with a vinyl feeling backing and another just long piece of fabric. Also has two pieces that appear to need a rod or something going through them. Any help? I did get some help on Facebook that the length wise stitched piece was the bellows that goes behind the top of the back seat. And I'm sure one piece goes on the wood just below the seat cushion but the rest I just don't know. Anyone got Lebarron Bonney Instructions they would sell?

I think the long one seamed on both sides covers the front of the board below the springs.
Or it could go on the back above the bellows. not showed in the picture, the two ones about 2 feet long go on the back of the seat and stick out and rub on the sides of the car to keep cold air and dust from the trunk from coming in the car |

Re: 30 Coupe seat upholtery parts
Thank you. I have buttons also. I've seen them on the seat or the back either. which way is correct? I like them without but think I would want them on the back rest, down about 4 to 6 inches from the top?

Re: 30 Coupe seat upholtery parts
The long strips are draft stoppers. They attach to the side of the seat to prevent drafts from the rumble seat or trunk. Between the top of the seat backrest and the package tray, there should also be a draft stopper that is long enough to enable full travel of the seat adjustment.

Re: 30 Coupe seat upholtery parts
I did my '30 Coupe about four years ago. My LB kit did, in fact, come with the draft stoppers and the package tray piece.
