Lug nut washers
Wheel holes are good. Will lug nut washers help to keep them like that or are they a bad idea for use on good holes?

Re: Lug nut washers
I have always added them no matter the condition of the wheel. Torque lug nuts to 55 or 60 ft lb.
Never have had a problem with wheels loosing up or paint chips. If you do add washers, that would be a good time to check the torque on your rear axel nuts. I torque them to 100 ft lbs. Using lug nut washers is like motor oil or STP/Marvel Mystery Oil. There are many strong different opinions. Enjoy. Last edited by WHN; 08-13-2018 at 09:01 AM. |
