Washington State E vs W 2015 date and info
We are a little late this year in organizing but we are having the run.
This is a reliability run for flathead powered cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Open to all makes, just has to be flathead powered. We changed the ending location last year and almost everyone loved it. The run will end at the Monitor Hot Rod Cafe in Monitor, WA (A few miles north of Wenatchee, WA). We had great weather last year, lets hope this year continues. The Hot Rod Cafe is a great location, with parking on the grass, great food, shade, river across the street and minutes from the town of Wenatchee or historic Levenworth. Hope to see you all there in with your flathead!

Re: Washington State E vs W 2015 date and info
It's a fun run, meaning you can start from anywhere and it ends in Monitor, WA at the hotrod cafe. It is a car show there. We try seeing which side of the state brings more cars. You have to be there by noon to qualify. Lots of people meet Saturday morning and drive as a group, but that is up to you

Re: Washington State E vs W 2015 date and info
Like Chris said , it's a fun run and starts fro anywhere. I have seen cars from several states and western Canada in past years. There are usually several cars heading over Hwy 2 and I believe some usually meet up in Monroe and travel together . If you want to do that , I would suggest also checking the thread on the H.A.M.B. as I think that's where I have read that. It is well worth going to and a chance to go for a nice drive and get a chance to see a bunch of flathead powered cars. Chris and the rest of the Inland Emperors club have done a great job putting this together.

Re: Washington State E vs W 2015 date and info
Had a great time last year. Met some nice folks. Looked at lots of beautiful cars. Wish we could go this year but, my truck is at another shop where they're dealing with the smoke damage and we're still trying to put our garage/shop back together after the fire in June. Maybe next year.

Re: Washington State E vs W 2015 date and info
Last I talked with Chris, there were no plans at the time. Unfortunately He and the other club members had a lot on their plates already. I wouldn't write it off completely though,
maybe the restaurant owner will take it on. |
