It was probably considered as a for sale ad in the discussion forum. Maybe it was move to the for sale section.

36 ford, is this the thread you are asking about ?
Maybe Swoop will chime in and let us know if he bought it or not. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241177 .

Re: What happeded to the "1939 Ford Saleable?" thread?
Lanny, I don't think so. This one was about a '39 Standard tudor that the elderly owner could no longer drive and had to divest himself of. The car was suppossedly in his family since April of 1939. I inquired as to whether it was restored or not. If it was original, I would much rather see a thread about it on the main board, rather than have it relegated to the of the relative obscurity of the "Swap Meet". The thread disappeared rather quickly, before the actual situation was determined. I am also curious as to why.

The author is "Bernie" and he had posted about replacing the headliner recently. I messaged him about the car but no response as yet.

Doing a quick search of Bernie's threads ( he don't have too many ), and the headliner thread I found of his was almost 6 years ago... .
