When modifying an Accel distributor for the french flathead I contacted him to see if my ideas would be correct. He was very helpful and gave me enough info to get the flatty sing its healthy song ever since. Thanks and RIP

Sad news indeed. Does anyone remember the video he put out a couple of years ago? A very talented individual. RIP

Sad news, for sure. What a wealth of knowledge, which was unselfishly shared with all on here and the HAMB. Rest in Peace, Mr. Jim.

Bubba did the crab on my 34 hotrod, been running perfect ever since. It was always nice when he would post his wisdom here on the barn, he will be missed by many.
RIP Jim

I can offer my condolences to the family and friends of Jim "Bubba " Linder. Jim was way ahead of the curve by converting Chevrolet distributors to fit the flathead Ford engines. Charlie Schwendler has picked up the ball from " Bubba " himself. Jim, we miss you and your knowledge. Since Charlie is banned from the Ford Barn, I put this up on Charlie's behalf.

He was a gem. His work was impeccable. I would send him used distributors and he would send me a rebuilt for every four I sent him. Still have one left. He did a V12 Lincoln converted to V8 that is 12 volt negative ground going in a project I am working on right now. We lost a great one. Rest in peace.
