Default 6 Volt Erath Issue

Well I know you barners have always advised on a good earth and starter cable size. Well I now have the same advise.
Ever since I've had my 33 I always had a problem starting cold & more so when hot. I got jack of it and checked out all that you have advised.
1. The earth went to the chassis, just a platted strap.
2. The only to the earth to the engine was another small platted strap to the mounting bolt of the starter.
3. A battery isolator installed on the firewall with 600mm leads battery to starter typical 12 volt size.

I done away with the battery isolator changed all cable to "00" & located engine earth to the clam shell as specified.
What a difference it cranks over like my old race car of 12 Volt into 6 Volt.
Next I will be installing a battery isolator on the earth side.

Hopefully this will be the end of my starting issues.

Just goes to show how a little effort can reap rewards.
