Fresh from the June 2018 Greenwich Concours! This 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe was built be well know Hot Rod expert Jerry Hagens -- author of "Full Race Flahead " Jerry is a well know old school hot rod builder. He chose the theme to be a period correct early fifties moonshine car choosing a traditional 1951 351ci Cadillac built to high performance levels using rare Eldorado dual quad intake feeding into big port Eldorado heads and exhaust manifolds. Power is driven though a rare (one year only) vintage 1937 Cadillac / LaSalle 3 speed floor shift transmission.

Just refreshed with engine out with receipts including:

- removing the engine and transmission for refresh
- inspected all trans gears / bearings / syncros and resealed the LaSalle transmission (leak free)
- new clutch and TO bearing
- rebuilt clutch linkage
- new front and rear engine main seals
- new valve cover gaskets
- complete tune-up
- installed custom drain bung on differential and replaced posi fluid
- rebuilt emergency brake assembly
- adjusted brakes
- rebuilt the 39 steering box with new worm/sector gears and new seals
- fresh alignment
- new steering column top bushing
- NOS new original 1939 Ford Deluxe Speedometer installed

The Coupe looks right, sound right and drives right! - comes with a complete 2 inch thick build book with the history of car, the builders, build pictures, all receipts
