the washboards on the 59 do it justice. I think ford made a mistake of not making them that way.

How good is this, a 1960 Edsel Villager Two Door Station Wagon, a Body Style that Ford Motor Company didn't offer in 1960.

1930artdeco, You are absolutely correct, Lincoln never made a Station Wagon. This example is probably a "one-off", but doesn't it look great?

If it wasn't offered, was/is this a one-off, also? That would be a lot of work to make a wagon that wasn't offered. I can understand Edsel not making a wagon in '60, as their days were already numbered by then.

Edsel did offer a Four Door Station Wagon in 1960, but not a Two Door.
Check out these 1960 Edsel Villager 6 & 9 Passenger Wagons from the Original Sales Brochure.

See below attachments regarding 1960 2DR WAGON -

Just add EDSEL WAGON QTR Extensions, gate, front end trim and you have it.

Another Station Wagon that Ford never produced, a 1957 Ford Thunderbird Wagon.
Whoever built it did a good job. It looks great.

I love "one-off" wagons that weren't produced. Years ago, I saw a Mustang conversion in Car & Driver Magazine, and there have been a lot more since then.

If you look at the bottom of the drivers door on this custom Edsel wagon, you can see it was really a four door with the rear doors filled in.

As pointed out by scicala, this 58 Edsel started life as a Four Door Station Wagon. In the conversion to a Two Door, they has retained the short from Door from the Four Door Wagon.
