At least you have warm weather to work in.
Pillow cases make good seat back covers for your bucket seats.

The car has been running perfect with clean spark plugs for the past two weeks with no problems and all of a sudden I get in it yesterday and it will barely run? I checked the timing and it was still dead on and then we timed it just in case and still the same.

I think I still have an old-style lower plate sitting around. Maybe I'll put that on tonight?

I agree that the original style lower plate with a good 100+ strand wire is the best.

Be sure the flag terminal on the points nut is bend up along side the nut, so it doesn't short to ground. I had a distributor that would short to ground at certain positions of the spark lever. Once the terminal was bent up against the nut, there were no more shorts.

I think Tom may have a good picture saved of the wire / terminal

Thanks for the picture Tom! I wasn't hundred percent sure what you're talking about. Very clear now thanks.

Actually . . . those Tudor front seats are comfortable. Just trying to figure a way, short of spot welding the thing, to not have the passenger side seat back flop forward at every stop sign. Don't recall any other of the Tudor sedans having this situation. Maybe a hose clamp might work?

A female mannequin might work.

I've never seen that problem, but am guessing the hinges are a bit worn.
