Default Repro Grease Zerks...

About 15 years ago I ordered a set of repro grease zerks (press in kind) and they kind of looked like the original but not close as to the shape of the cone.

Fast forward 15 years...has the apparence of the zerks changed so as they represent the real shape of the originals?

If they have changed...who sells them?

Thanks.

Pluck

A+L i bought some a while back ..they were close. A bitch to get the old ones out to reuse ...but it can be done... I used most originals on my car. And i don't know if they look that close to be judged... that's getting really nuts if they do. :>)

I really hope you are trying to be funny. If you aren't, then you really need to understand fine point judging better. Although if the standards read soap based lubricant and I saw white lithium or red grease I would dock points.

You know for years i say if MOST JUDGES [very few do] enter THEIR car for fine point judging then MOST JUDGES would know what they are talking about and KNOW HOW TO JUDGE! ...They are missing all the work , time ,money ,running around chasing parts from all of corners of the U.S. of A , phone calls ,,more phone calls ,, emails.... and it comes down to a zerk fitting or its grease ,,then maybe smell the air out of my tires and see if its 1930 AIR! Let me see THERE IS ANOTHER Henry FORD WINNER from Wisc.[JAY PEARCY and his 1930 COUPE] and a few others that mistakes have been made . I HAVE BEEN THERE DONE THAT...AND sorry to say its not a joke...about the mistakes that were made in Wisc.

I was able to collect only the ones that were NOT DRIVEN right to the base. Worked them out very slowly and soak them alot with oil and back and forth with a small flat screwdriver [like a can opener.] around and around.. Some of these judges know how to pick apart a car when judging but no clue what it takes to restore one for fine point judging.
