Default 8BA/8CM Ford/Merc Blocks – Cracked

City: Vienna
State: VA
Price: Free

Two blocks looking for a new home. Both have repairable cracks on the top deck at cylinder number 2.

#1: 8BA Ford: One easily repairable crack on top deck at #2 intake port. Cylinder #6 is sleeved. First set of 3 photos show details. Factory valve seat inserts in exhaust. Bored +.040” over.

#2: 8CM Merc: two seat cracks at #2 exhaust. Last set of 4 photos show details. Factory valve seat inserts in both intake & exhaust. Bored +.060” over.

Pick up in northern Virginia.
