Default Is this crank trash?

It could probably be welded, or does it need to be?

It's a 4" stroke Merc crank and I've already been through h and high water.
I plan on a fairly warmed up street motor.
Suggestions?

I would suggest you take it to a crank grinder and get his opinion. I believe it is worth saving. Good luck. Jack

I have a crank grinder that has welded many cranks. He could weld that up and grind the crank and balance it and you could never see where it was fixed. Walt

That would be an easy repair, that crank is worth saving.

What is the current size of this crank, rods and mains?

Standard, standard.
The rest of the crank looks fine. I would take it to a pro and get it checked out for cracks, of course.
Just looking for experienced eyes to tell me if I would be wasting my time.
Thanks guys.
I may put off the engine build a little while and see if something better turns up.
I've got plenty of other stuff to do on the car before it needs an engine.
I can at least get the mounts remade...again...
