Default steering column wire clips

i've installed an old turn signal switch on the 34, a signal stat 700. i want a clip that holds the wire harness to the side of the column. it seems to me my old 63 ford truck had a clip like that for the factory signal wires, and i think many others, like 50's gm stuff too. its a C shape with a bump out the back for wires to go thru, and just clips on the tube. i checked all the ford vendors, cant even find a picture. googling brings up more clips than you ever thought existed, but plain old C clips, no. help my memory, was that a ford truck part? is there a proper name to search? any ideas? thanks, skip

I bet you could make one using the metal banding strap material.

I know exactly what you are referring to, but have no idea of what they are called or where to get them. Sorry. The only thing I can suggest are the manufacturers of aftermarket turn signal kits or maybe column mount tachometers.

There was a thread on these a while back. Don't remember if it was here on the Barn or on the HAMB. Not much help, because I can not think of what they were called!

I would expect the guys into old GM products to have them.
Maybe at a swap meet.
