38 coupe seat
Does anyone have a couple of pictures showing just how the seat cushion is attached to the wooden backrest ?
For a 38 ( or 37 ) coupe seat. 39 is different. Thanks, Chris. |

Re: 38 coupe seat
I took several pictures of an amazingly pristine unrestored early 38 standard coupe in 2013 at the Lake Tahoe meet. The owner was very nice and let me oogle his car for a while. Hopefully these pictures are useful to you.

Re: 38 coupe seat
Original Sales Brochure illustration of the Ford Coupes sold in Australia in 1938. Even though the Standard Coupe is listed as Business Coupe, it in fact was a Club Coupe. No "short door" 1938 Ford "Business" Coupes were sold in Australia, they were all Club Coupes, available in Standard and Deluxe. The same applies to the Coupes sold by Ford Australia in 1937, they were both Club Coupes, available in Standard and Deluxe. |
