Who used to own/build this Speedster?
Just bought this speedster 1913. The is what it is wearing:
Livingston Brass Radiator Rocky Mountain brakes Warford Aux Transmission Ruckstell axle McLaren Wire wheels "Non-skid tires" "New fenders", powder coated See pictures for more. Dealer bought it from another dealer and no information about the previous owner. My title only shows the dealer I bought it from him. He said the work was done about two years ago. He knows the engine is "brand new" and has a lot of "goodies." Anyone seen this car about, must have some interesting history! But who? |

Re: Who used to own/build this Speedster?
It looks like some of the modern kit speedsters. The Mclaren wheels are modern made units that fit modified model T hubs. Rootlieb makes a kit that looks the same. Brassworks makes the Livingston V and Super V radiators.
Someone wanted high end model T Speedster so they built one. If a person has the spare funds and a decent model T chassis then the stuff is still available to do that. |

No clue re builder but pretty sweet little car - love the yellow and black combo set off by the brass "goodies." But why is the horn on the passenger side?
IMHO, anything newer than a T doesn't look right as a speedster but T's make great ones. |

Is it a true representation of a 1913 Model T Speedster? There never was a 1913 Speedster made by Ford. Speedsters were built by people from more or less Ford parts along with outside manufacturers. Parts were replaced and upgraded over the last century. So, to myself, I am calling it a 1913 Model T Speedster. It came with 1913 on it's Livingston VEE radiator. Since there are no certain answers, I am keeping it. In the common vulgarity, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and many people have more than one! Case closed. I am going for a drive in my very new Speedster!

From the looks of it, it looks like a detailed build.
Drive the heck out of it and enjoy it! My 2 cents |

Re: Who used to own/build this Speedster?
Nice build. It has a lot of goodies. This should be a great car.
it is built to resemble a 1913 so yes call it a 1913. I hope you find the builder at some point, but if not it sure looks like a very solid car. Congradulations! |
