Default Mac's Free Shipping

I received a flyer from Mac's that they are having 3 days of free shipping on orders of $29.99 and over this weekend. Online orders only! I had some items in my cart so I went ahead and took advantage of the free shipping which I am sure it saved me a bundle. The ad was confusing as it stated non-truck only. I called and talked to one of the ladies as my order was for my `51 F1. She said that should have read Non-truck freight. Meaning big articles that requires truck freight are not included in this free shipping deal.

I like the new owners already...

Sorry 39 STD. I should have caught that. Glad you were able to take advantage of it.

A few years ago I talked to a representative at Mac's at Hershey. At that time you could store a part you needed in the shopping cart for a short time and it would go away. I asked the representative why they didn't leave the parts in the shopping cart until I was ready to order everything at one time to save shipping costs. I don't remember his comment and perhaps it had nothing to do with what I said but it happened and it's a great feature.

Glad you got it. This may sound funny to some but I have come to look for parts on Amazon.com. You would be surprised what you'll find. And often the prices are better also. Then take advantage of their free "Super Saver" shipping.

When I was looking for some Dynamat it was not only way cheaper but I got free shipping AND no sale tax. (The tax part has changed now).

Anything to save a few pennies.

My son bought Smithy Mufflers from Amazon for my old truck, said they were a good deal.

I wish I could get free shipping. I love when the ad says "free shipping to the continental U.S." so I call them up and say "I'm in Alaska" and they won't ship free. I remind them that Alaska is still on the North American "continent", but they won't go for it.
