Probable a Dumb question .
I purchased a light switch from Snyders and it has never operated correctly,maybe they sent the wrong one.Is there a difference in year models? My old one had kinda worn out ,not sure it was original since the car had been restored before I bought it . When I hooked up the wires according to Andrews manual the Low Beam headlights would not light up .using a "hot" jumper wire directly to the contact for low beam they light up . I'm not new at this but dont have a club near by join so maybe some of you can help out here. I switched contacts around nothing helped,even used some "contact" cleaner. I figure it has to be in the new switch not making contact with the low beam contact.

.I have read where the reproduction switches are junk,where can I purchase a good reproduction switch?
