European Classic Tires
Has any one purchased these tires? If you purchased a set, how do you like them?
They are advertised in The Restorer magazine. Thanks |

Re: European Classic Tires
Yes, I acquired them to replace my old weather checked Brazilian Goodyear's (circa 1987?). Very happy with them so far ~ 100 miles - I like the diamond tread look similar to the Goodyear's but at a much lower cost. On freshly powder coated rims, I found the HF lug nut sockets have a Delrin jacket which prevents/minimizes chipping during mounting/unmounting. The first two I drove up to Performance Tires + in Ling Beach but mail ordered the second set from the restorer ad (free shipping).

Re: European Classic Tires
I have a set of 21" tires on my 29 Tudor. It rides and drives great. Much smoother than the 10 year old Goodyears that they replaced.

I put a set of European classic`s on my 31 160A and have about 300 miles on them. I`m very happy with them.

Delrin does protect the lug nut area of the wheel, but the other end of the socket can still scar a nearby spoke. I ordered a Delrin socket from Amazon a while back, and I ended up returning it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

European Classic Tires
I found this link. https://www.performanceplustire.com/...75-500x19-86m/ It doesn’t mention a warranty, but $109 per tire seems to be an attractive price. One down side... The speed rating is only 81 mph. [emoji13] But our Model A’s are probably in little danger of exceeding that speed rating anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: European Classic Tires
Their 16" tires are Nylon so I would guess that the construction would be similar, but the sidewalls are not marked.
