How accurate do you need? I can measure with a tape or machinist rule but not to thousands of an inch.

Thank you for the offer but I need it pretty exact. I was hoping that someone had the info either from measuring one or had a block print with the dimension on it. I still have a little time so. . .

According to my copy of Servicing and Repair Data for Ford Vehicles, published Nov 1951 by Ford Motor Co, England, the dimension you want is 4.004" to 4.006"
