Default 1952 Ford Customline 6 cylinder

Hello everyone here at the forum. I wanted to see if any of you may be able to identify a part that I am looking for on this ford car.
I'll try to describe it as best as possible.
This part goes on a bracket in which the clutch pedal swings in and out.
I have the broken pieces and they look like part of a bushing to me.
I think that it may be called a Clutch release shaft bushing or something like that. The bracket in which this bushing goes in has a hole that is about 1 and 7/8" in diameter. Sorry I can't give you a better description.
Maybe someone here has a parts breakdown of the clutch assembly on this ford 215 6 cylinder motor.
I am hoping to find the part here local so that I can start driving my car.
Thanks for your help.

If it's the steel tube that is in the pedal arm it may require total arm replacement or with the right equipment a repair could be made.

Good Morning.
Thank you very much for the drawing of the clutch assembly. I see the part but does not id the part.Do you have the parts information for this drawing.
If you look at the last part at the bottom of the drawing, you see a bracket with a hole in it.In the hole goes the bushing that I need.Once the bushing is in,than the part that looks like a bolt with a ball joint at the end snaps into this bushing. I hope I am making sense.

Good Morning.
In this drawing,I don't see the bracket that has the bushing that I need. If you look at bobs posting, you can see the bracket at the bottom of the drawing. That bracket has a hole in which the bushing goes in.That is the part # or part name that I need to try and locate it. Thanks for all your help.

Sounds like number 2 in the drawing.
Maybe someone has a parts manual that can provide a part number but then to find someone who actually has one.

You are correct. Its going to be hard to find the part.We have a big junk yard here in town.Eventhough I only need the bushing that goes inside the bracket,I might have to go over and buy the bracket with bushing together. This junk yard has a lot of oldies vehicles just in case any of you guys ever need used parts.I'm sure they send out quite a few parts nationwide. Thanks again.

This is the same 7517 root number split bushing used on '52-'53 Merc. (it is supposed to be in two pieces)

Thanks Alaska Jim.
I will check the link you gave me and see if they have it. I found the bracket complete with bushing here at the local wrecking yard and if I can't locate the new bushing,I will have to use the one from the yard. Thanks for the info.

Mercury51, the bushing in the drawing is # 7517.it is a 2 piece bushing.I'm trying to locate it.Hopefully I can find it today. If not, I will use the bracket with bushing that I found at the local yard.
One more question and I hope I am not asking to much.Do you or someone here have the drawing or parts breakdown of the front end assembly for this 1952 ford car?
One of the tie rods is pretty worn out and would like to replace it.
Thank you very much for your troubles.

There are some on epay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw..._dmd=1&_ipg=50

Bob
Looked at some Ford parts books and it looks like 01A-7517 is the same.
It fits 1940-48.

Ok Guys, the bushings came in today and I put them in there spot. However,I cannot get the ball or pivot that goes in to snap on. I than thought I would remove the ball/pivot off its bracket and than try to snap them together at the bench.
I cannot remove that ball off the bracket at all. In the diagram it shows that the ball/pivot goes tru the bracket and than on the other side its held by a lock washer and a nut. There is not nut holding this thing. It has a grease fitting and I took that off but after that, there is no nut.The end of the shaft l is rounded off.
I'm thinking that the ball shaft was pressed in at the factory.
Do any of you have any suggestions in removing this ball off its bracket?
Trying to get this car ready for the weekend to go out for a ride.
Thanks for your help.
