Default How difficult to replace rockers

Say i am looking at a 41 convertible that needs new rockers are they just a bastard to replace or not to bad, they are completely missing. I am a pretty good welder and have a wire feed? Thanks

Alignment is the biggest problem. Would probably be best to replace the rockers with the body still bolted to the frame to keep things aligned, especially in a convertible.

V12bill X3. set your door gaps and trunk alignment and do any shimming to the body first, maybe weld some supports across and front to back to hold it before you start welding in the rockers.
