Wind Wings on a 150B Woody Wagon
Has anyone ever put Wind Wings on a Woody wagon? I think they would help. If so How did you do it and where did you get the Wings? How do you get around the side mirror arm on the drivers side?
Thanks, Hugh |

I don't think that you'll get anyone that has done this as I have never seen a Woodie with them in person. I just went through all my saved pics of different 150B's and didn't see any there either. I hope you find someone to answer or help you.

My 28 Phaeton doesn't have windwings, and I rode in a Phaeton with windwings, and I can't see that they really helped. I know they get in the way somewhat while getting in and out, so I'm glad my car never had them.

My 29 tudor has them. I consider them unnecessary "bling" that get in the way when I want to back up using the mirrors. I am taking them off when I remove the doors for refinishing this winter. If you are not in a hurry you can have them when I get them off.

The wind wings on my 29 Roadster work. It does take some adjusting to find the correct angle but can be done driving down the road. Generally people have them too far out.
Yes, they are a pain when the side curtains are on and you have to snake your way in. |

I don't understand the need for them myself. I drive my tudor on the highway 50-55 and don't get bothered by air, even with the front window open and rh front window down 3/4's, as well as the driver's.

I assume you are asking me about the windings I am taking off my 29 tudor. You can have them for free. Just pay shipping. PM me with your email address and I'll email you when I get them off. Probably in November.
