Anything that raises the boiling point could cause a T to overheat.
The thermo-syphon cooling system needs the water to almost boil to cause the heated water to raise to the top of the rad quickly & draw cooled water in to the block from the bottom of the rad. A Model T Fords running well will produce a bit of steam. The watering can on the island at all old gas stations was not there because everyone had leaky rads.

A thermo syphen system does not need to be hot to circulate.
If the water in the radiator is anything cooler than the water in the motor it will thermosyphen.
On a cold day you can drive for hundres of miles with the radiator temp below 160 degrees. If it isn't thermosyphening it would boil.
The Ford Prefect and Anglia of the 50's had no water pump. They didn't run near boiling. Same for the Singer and a lot of other cars.
As for Evans coolant-I wouldn't.
The car may never boil with that in it but it will run hotter than it ever did before. Much hotter.
Best to get the radiator recored and add some water wetter type additive if it still gets hot.
I have seen many a T run in 100 degree weather without getting hot or boiling.
I had a '22 that i could run all year without ever adding anything to the radiator, but it had a new radiator core. And before i installed a Gates fanbelt it would boil in any weather.
You need a good fanbelt that doesn't slip.

Agree on a good fanbelt. A belt that doesn't slip is better than any accessory water pump.

When I built a new speedster with a fresh engine it would overheat all the time. On cool nights my boy and I would ride around town and if we went too slow it would still boil. Just could not drive in the daytime on any normal day.
Then I put on a GATES belt. WOW!!! What a difference.
I could drive any speed, any traffic in the hottest weather and it NEVER ONCE got hot.
Alos a better grade of sweeties waved at us after that too.

About 3 weeks ago, we had our town's parade. We ran in the parade with no boiling in 95 degree weather at parade speeds, no pump, good belt, at least 21 year old radiator.
