Congrats! And welcome to the Barn You will have plenty of really nice weather to cruise around in. If you are new to the A then might I suggest joining a club so you can learn all of the little idiosyncrasies (sp).

I've never seen that chrome treatment before. Thank you for taking it off.

Sorry, that sounded kind of snooty, didn't it? Hope you enjoy your car no matter what anybody like me says. '30-31 Coupes are among my favorites.

LOL, you beat me to it and I'm sure most will agree that it really should go. I've never seen anything like it on an antique car, but it must be some of that stick on trim. Looks like a good solid car and should be a fun ride.

Studebaker made a President Speedster using three similar yellow-green colors in metallic. It was gorgeous. I wanted one.

I'll bet it's not chrome, but bling from the UFO's that crash landed in Roswell.

UFO bling! Now that's funny. I got it started today, seems to run ok. I'm thinking of using a heat gun to help remove that stick on bling,I just hope the paint doesn't come with it.

The heat gun sounds like a good idea.
I've found WD-40 works good to remove sticky goo without damaging the surface.
