Question Question: 1931 Rumble Seat Bottom Cushion Install

I am not a purist, but I'd like to know/see how the lower seat cushion is installed in the 1931 Rumble Seat.

I am not sure how it is anchored and what the method of 'securing' the lower cushion to prevent it from slipping around.

Pictures of the lower seat cushion springs and the way the 'trunk space' looks before installation would be very beneficial.

Pictures would be AWESOME.

Hi Mike

I think originaly Ford used a snap in type spring that went into the 2 holes in the panel...On my seat bottom which is wood, I just used 2 wood screw's with large washer's to cover the hole's

I'am thinking Marco has picture's of the bottom of his Roadster ?
