Don's `37 Ford hot rod
Hey guys yesterday a few of us gathered at Vic's to have lunch (ie pizza ). I had to snap a couple pics of our friend Don Russo's neat `37 Ford hot rod. This car is the furthest thing from a trailer queen that you could imagine. Don drives this car everywhere. This baby is a real runner and head turner. This is also the inspiration for our club logo, "Cigar City Flatheads". Enjoy!

Love the red wheels, white sidewalls and full hubcaps. A true throwback to the mid 50's!

Re: Don's `37 Ford hot rod
Felix, I don't have any photos of the interior of Don's '37 but I can tell you that it has a '40 Ford dash, White tuck-N-Roll seat and red metal-flake steering wheel and louvered package tray signed by "Big Daddy" Don Garlits. Don is running a Merc Flathead (I think it's a '53) that Mike built, hooked up to a '39 Top Loader, etc. It is a fun car to drive and ride in as well.

Re: Don's `37 Ford hot rod
Don's car is very cool. You don't see many like that. Most folks think they must have a '32-'34 to run fenderless but Don's '37 proves that theory wrong. It's also cool to cruise with him during the Barners Bash in FL. His car always gets my "best of show" vote at the Fred Howard Park gathering/picnic.
