Good story! Too bad I am not from Minnesota........ on second thought, I am ok with not being from Minnesota!! Baja is pretty nice as far as I am concerned, and being from Oregon is ok too.

I listen to Joe's radio show faithfully, every day. He's a master at nostalgia and life's small pleasures. (with an overtone of common sense!)
After reading his article about the Iron Man Tour, I wrote him regarding a few things, one of them being Model A's in our past. Joe and I were born a month apart, and just across the river from each other! Check out Garagelogic.com, it's his baby.

I like Joe and listened to him every day until a couple years ago when the station changed to all sports talk. Hard to believe there isn't a GOOD oldies or talk radio station in a metro area this large. Still have Click and Clack on public radio every Saturday morning though, and that's good.
