Default Did someone say Shoebox?

Here's my '51. Has some issues, major one being ugly. Runs great with a 302/C4 combo from a Mustang GT. Stops great, rides like a chuckwagon. Gonna swap the front springs this week for somw Aerostar van springs. Need some stuff for it. None of the guages work. I need the speedo to work. Want the fuel level, temp and oil psi to work. I'll get it. The doors need some serious help. I think I'll just buy new hinges. The hood apparently flew up at one point or another. It fits like hell. The grille is missing. I'll make one. Other than that, my girls (wife and two daughters) love it. Jenny has put more miles on it than I have!
BTW...the flames are long gone. Looks like my 3 yr old did them.

Put about 400 miles on it this week so far. Jenny took the girls to Girl Scouts tonight. Picked up pizza and beer. Neighbors drove to Detroit fir a concert. Ugly but it sure goes where it needs to!

Crappy chrome waterneck leaks a little. Front dipstick tube seal also. 80mph on the freeway, 160*, I ain't gonna complain. Now, if I can get it to hold still long enough to swap front springs, we'll be golden like front teeth in the ghetto!
