Original 1928 Canadian Sport Coupe
This past weekend I was at a swap meet, and although I did not find any Model A parts I did get to look over and take some photos of a fairly original 1928 Sport Coupe. For the record it is engine number CA88105 body number F807. I could not find any gas tank code.

Very nice to see, Bick. My early 29 Tudor was CA96929.

Re: Original 1928 Canadian Sport Coupe
Bick,
That is a very nice original car. I don't know what $3800 AU is compared to US dollars, but it appears the AU dollar is a little less than US dollars. That would be a little less than $3500 US. Seems like a steal to me. I would gladly pay that price for a left hand drive car. Someone is going to get a real deal if the $3800 is the current price, which seems very low. Rusty Nelson |

Re: Original 1928 Canadian Sport Coupe
I have a friend with a 28 phaeton with right hand drive and right hand brake. The engine number is higher than this one which has the center squeeze brake.

Re: Original 1928 Canadian Sport Coupe
Karl,
The sign in the window shows $3800. I just checked the NZ dollar to the US dollar. It is .78 NZ dollar to 1 US dollar, so there is not a lot of difference in the two dollars. Did the owner leave off a trailing 0 on his sigh? Rusty Nelson |

Rusty, It is just the reflection / light playing tricks. If you look at the 2nd picture I posted you can clearly see the 30. It is definately 30,000 NZD but has been on the market some time now and the owner is very negotiable.

Re: Original 1928 Canadian Sport Coupe
Thanks for Posting the Pictures. The interior shot showing the roof brackets is a big help for my 28 Canadian Sports Coupe.
