'34 tube headers - source?
I have a later model steering box that I'd love to put in my '34, but it won't go with the stock exhaust manifolds- it's about 1/2" thicker than stock.
So I am looking for a good source for a set of tubular headers. Afew eyars back I tried the econpmy ones from, I think Mac's or Speedway, they didn't work. Anyone know of a source whose headers give lots of room around the stock gearbox? |

Can also vouch for Reds Headers. Great to deal with even in NZ. Have purchased 2 sets from them.
Even had a RHD Set for my 55 Customline on the shelf. Quick and efficient also to this side of the globe. Phil NZ |

Re: '34 tube headers - source?
Jim Davis at Red's Headers is a great guy to work with. We just worked together to build an exhaust extension for a flathead in original '32 frame with an F1 steering box. Jim had the header, but not the extension pipe. I made a mock up pipe to fit the drivers side, and now he will have that extension available to his customers. Red's 760 343 2590. Thousand Palms, CA
