What year did Ford move the front radius rod ball socket to the frame?
What year did Ford move the front radius rod ball socket to the frame? On the Model T it was on the oil pan, on the Model A it was on the flywheel housing. Where was it on the Model B (1932 4 cyl)? Model 18 (1932 V-8)?

All 1932's had it attaching to the K crossmember of the frame.

Quote:
1932 it went to the center of the 'new' "K-member" installed in '32s ONLY. 1933 and subsequent year Fords had the ball socket on a more conventional crossmember mounted between a pair of "X" configuration rails. DD The '32 BELOW! |
