Thats me beside the 39 Deluxe back in the summer of 71. The first year I bought the registration for the plates. My dad bought the car in 1952 so it has been in the family near 63 years. The Merc since 1959.

Have had my 1933 Vicky since 1953. 62 years and on it's third engine. Have acquired others in those 62 years, some have gone and some have stayed to keep the Vicky company,. Just finished a 46 woodie that I have had for 36 years.

Have owned my '40 V8 tudor 36+ years - bought it the day the Iranians took the American Embassy hostage, and I'm finally starting to work on it (running joke was that it would be my retirement project-bought it right out of high school in 1979). I'll hit 35 years for my '55 Ford and '63 T-bird next year and they're much further along.

I bought my 46 pickup when I was 12 for 25 dollars 48 years ago towed it home behind an 8 N ford tractor, got it started , pulled the six cyl out and bought 2 v-8s and a truck load of spare parts for another 25 dollars, still have the truck and both engines, truck was stolen in 1985 been sleeping in pieces every since, I am waiting to get another shop built to put it back together.

I bought my 1949 Ford 1/2 ton pickup while a junior in high school in 1973 for $57.oo. It still runs and will be scheduled for a full restoration in about two years. I also have a 1929 Ford Model A standard coupe my dad bought in 1972 for $700. All original and still running!
