Muffler markings
I have a stamping on two of my mufflers,
H4L301, and H0L301. Being a later 29 and late 30 they should take the same muffler. Anyone know what these numbers mean?

Re: Muffler markings
I've got one marked H7F301 that I bought from at a swap meet some years ago. The seller had a small pile of them and mentioned that he bought them from Midas Muffler on a close-out sale about the time that Midas quit making and carrying them in inventory.

Re: Muffler markings
I have never known a muffler for the A to have a number. Where would I look for this number?
