I bought an assembled Mack Products bed. It is very, very close to an original bed. Mack Hils has been building beds for decades and his factory is state of the art.
I am very pleased with it. I doubt any other reproduction bed is as accurately made. I even got the steel floor with the access panel for the fuel tank sender (as original). The bed did not come with studs for the rear fenders but they are easily obtained and your fenders can be attached. There is no hole for the gas tank nozzle but that, too, is easily remedied. I am very pleased with the bed. My original looked like a bag of walnuts! You can see how the bed looks, both unpainted and painted, on the buildup tale of my truck on the Limeworks Speedshop blog/gallery. It's the green and black '34 Ford pickup.

I can't speak for Mack, but Northern Classic Trucks made a really nice bed for my '40.

From looking at Northern's web site, I don't think they make a bed for a 34 there earliest beds are 38-41

Bought a Mac Hils this fall. Everything from the wood under the metal floor to the stack pockets is right on.
There are a few things you need to do.....as mentioned, fender mounting holes, gas filler hole, and front box attaching bolt hole (mine is carriage bolt, so had to learn how to cut a square hole) -- and attaching tail light brackets. I asked if they could send me a couple extra rivets, and they did. They dont stamp the rivets, they wire feed the sides you dont see, so drilling out the factory rivets and using the new ones with bracket and wire feed -- just like factory.
I do have one problem that has to do with the third set of box mounting holes. The holes in the box do not line up with the support bracket underneath. But, the box floor holes are correct for the frame holes, but the bracket holes are not. I called and talked to them and it seems I have been the only one who has mentioned it. Since the box is held on by 8 bolts, drilling the support bracket to match the bed hole will be no problem, and really not effect the box being held on the frame.
Highly recommend their work, and customer service. And communication about delivery, since the semi would not fit down the driveway. Semi had lift gate, and we dollyed it to lift gate and lowered it onto a trailer for the ride to the shop.
If you have questions, I suggest you call them and ask for Joy. She knows her stuff.
