Help us understand why you'd want to do all this just for looks? You'll still need to make it stout and make additional steps that you wouldn't have to on a non-blown motor. I'd say if you're going to spend the cash, might as well make it go as well. |

Re: Right blower !!! For flathead
Yo Tim, any chance you could take a pic of your friend's blown 60 and post it? I have a 60 for a future project and would like to explore that option. Or, if your friend is in the witness protection program, PM me. Thanks, Lou

Re: Right blower !!! For flathead
A 6/71 looks real cool on a Flathead. Maybe a little big but you can under drive it. I have this setup in my A roadster. No problems.

Re: Right blower !!! For flathead
Go to h&h flathead web site thet sell blowers...nothing looks better than a scot Ithaca blower on a flathead. They repop them. 2nd choice would be a 471 with a cragar v belt drive. They are also being reproduced. Both are$$$$$$$$

Re: Right blower !!! For flathead
In my opinion, the SCot or the GMC 371 look the best. All the new stuff doesn't do it for me

Re: Right blower !!! For flathead
A 6-71 will get people to look for sure when it's parked. But it will suck lots of hp to drive it . Sixe the blower to the motor unless you are racing stick to a practical size blower. 3 or 4-71. About a 172cu in blower.is a good street size.

I like the Magnason blower kit. But it's a little pricy.
