Default 28-29 vs. 30-31 roadster bucket/cab?

P.S. ***TO CLARIFY: I have a cab/bucket., i dont know if it a 28-9 or a 30-31.
If anyone can tell me how i can determine what year i have that is my question.
Per below reply seems the doors are not same size for 28-9 & 30-31 cabs.
Does this mean that if i put a 28-9 cowl on the 28-9 doors will also fit any cab?
.
If anyone has a 28-9, a 30-31 cab/bucket any chance you can measure height, length from rear door post to the cab back. Top to bottom: top cab to chassis?
Looking for facts which determine the year.
Im not asking which year anyone prefers & why.
With my tks, Jerbo

30-31 cab is wider....... more room and generally more desired by rodders.

30-31 is my preference as well. I do find the opposite for the roadster Pickup bodies. a lot of folk prefer the 28/29 Roadster Pickups than 30/31 style maybe it's due to production numbers. Maybe It's just me.

28-29 roadster doors measure 22 1/4" wide. 30-31 roadster doors measure 24" wide. The 28-29 roadster body has NO package tray behind the seat back rest. The 30-31 roadster body does have a small package tray. The 30-31 roadsters are both easier to get in and out of, and have storage that the earlier bodies do not. There also is a small cowl pocket in the 30-31 cowl panel for storage. Nothing in the 28-29 cowl panels. If you a re a big guy, go for the 30-31.

I'm 6 ft, 245 lbs and have owned both '29 and '31 roadsters. I only have a '31 roadster now. One of main reasons I kept it is because I fit a whole heck of a lot better!
