Great job Mart! And a great run, I hope you let Jeremy, running the 350, know you beat his time with a crusty flathead!

.

Wow Mart, that's near 80 miles from Solihull to Prescott....pretty good little drive, eh? The wife and I just watched your video again. She spent a year in London and Great Yarmouth when she was a teenager. Coming back from N. Ireland, I rode a train from Liverpool to London, and then on to Southampton to catch the Queen Mary when I was a snotty 8-year-old. Lovely country...funny train! I remember it like it was last week. Thanks for all the comments.

Jeremy wasn't driving on the run I filmed. He gave me a ride later and let me tell you, it was WAY quicker than any of my runs.

Mart.

Hi Mart,

What are you using for a camera, a GoPro? Love all your instructive videos and the fun ones like this!

Once again, thanks for the comments.

I use a GoPro clone. Akaso brand. These action cameras have no provision for external mic. so I record the audio on my phone and splice everything together after the event while editing. If you watch my videos sometimes I lose the audio and have to rely on the camera internal mic. and the sound quality is poor and the volume low.

I've slowly and painfully learnt what works and what does not work.

Mart.

Coopman, I just looked on google maps and it's 42.3 miles. About an hour's drive.

Thanks Mart.

I have an older GoPro but the sound is difficult as you mention. I bought to use on a motorcycle. The video has great but wind noise especially, not.

Thanks!

Mart, not only are you a very good mechanic/machinist, you're also a great "curb side announcer" and reporter. So, given you don't believe anything that's not reported on the BBC, (the Queen's conversion of her country estate into an outdoor movie theater), might your future include a BBC Special Interest Reporter.....might provide $$ for parts etc??

Really enjoyed the video and especially the way you covered it. Very sorry about the technical glitches, but you overcame!!
